Calling all designers! Delve into the historical world of corsets by creating your own version of a historical corset to your personal measurements.

This practical course will take place on Thursday 19th and Friday 20th April, from 10:00am-4:00pm. It will include an informative talk in which you will be shown corsets from the past before moving on to the design, under the expert supervision of Lucy Hewes of Design Make Educate. You will take measurements, draft a pattern, make a toile, undergo a fitting, make alterations to the pattern, and start to make your own corset.
