Normanby Hall Country Park has an action packed programme of activities planned throughout the summer holidays to keep all the family entertained. To view all the events, please visit the What’s On page

From 21 July to 4 September, the popular petting farm will return and will be located next to the Farming Museum. Handling sessions will take place so you can get hands on with the animals.

As well as all of this, families can enjoy events with a different theme every fortnight including ‘Mischief Makers’, ‘Construction Curiosities’ and ‘Scintillating Science’.

As part of the Mischief Makers fortnight, 23 July to 5 August, children and families are invited to get creative and design their own tote bag or sock character on Monday 23 July. On 28 July and 2 August, there is the opportunity to join a mischievous poetry walk with cheeky rhymes.

Highlights of the Construction Curiosities fortnight, 6 to 19 August include bug hunting sessions in the Park on 9 August. On 16 July there is a chance to work with artist James Sutton to create your very own bird sculpture memento, inspired by feathery friends at the Park.

Activities in the Splendid Science fortnight, 20 August to 2 September include story time sessions with children’s book favourite ‘Tadpole’s Promise’, with sessions taking place on 24 and 29 August. On 23 August children can discover and collect mini beasts using scientific equipment.

The summer programme concludes with a bank holiday family festival from 25 to 27 August. This will feature a Superheroes and Princesses Day and showcase the fantastic home grown food and produce that Lincolnshire has to offer. Watch out for further information on this exciting event.

Some activities will incur a small additional charge to cover costs and advance booking is essential via Eventbrite. Park admission fees apply for all events or display your membership.
