Over the May bank holiday, Saturday 26 to Monday 28 May, 10am to 6pm, Normanby Hall Country Park is hosting an action-packed Bank Holiday Festival.
Throughout the whole weekend, the popular Continental Street Market that has recently visited Scunthorpe High Street, will have traders from around the world selling delicious international food and drink.
Food on offer will range from cakes and pastries for those with a sweet tooth to scrumptious Greek Gyros, Spanish Paella, Polish Bigo and Shao Kao Chinese Chicken. Local traders with stalls will be selling sweets, candles and wax melts, and play trays for children – plus much more.
Visitors will be able to enjoy a carnival atmosphere with a steel band playing all weekend and fun activities for all the family, from traditional fairground rides to top class entertainment. Children (aged between five and 11) will be able to tackle the inflatable obstacle course. Other activities include a bouncy castle and face painting.
Katy Ashworth – as seen on CBeebies will be hosting three sessions with children on the Sunday (27 May) at 11am, 1pm and 3pm. No booking required, just turn up on the day.
