There’s lots going on at Normanby Hall Country Park over October half term!
There will be a pumpkin hunt throughout the park from 21 October to 5 November. Trail sheets can be purchased from the Gift Shop between 10.30 and 4pm for 20p, or downloaded here.
The park will be home to Normanby Hall’s World of Witchcraft and Wizardry on 23 October from 10.30am to 4pm. There will be lots of activities taking place around the park such as wand making, woodland activities, broomstick training, bean planting, spell writing, screen printing, story telling, candle making, and music workshops. North Lincolnshire Library staff will be reading the classic Julia Donaldson tale Room on the Broom on 25 October at 11am, 1.20pm and 2.30pm. No need to book, meet in front of the Hall.
On 27th October there will be Spooky Tots sessions at 10.30am and 1.30pm. Play, sing, explore and get messy in this spooky themed session for children aged 5 and under. Places cost £4 and must be booked in advance by calling 01724 720588.
There is a Woodland Tots workshop on Monday 30 October for under 5s where the theme will be spiders! Take part in woodland activities, storytelling and singing. Places cost £4 and must be booked in advance by calling 01724 720588.
On Monday 30 October there will be a wand making drop in session from 1pm to 3pm for all ages. We’re hoping to add more activities too, so we’ll confirm this nearer the time.
The Stableyard Cafe will be serving exciting themed treats over half term. Pop in to see what’s on offer!
Because we are in our winter season now, there is a car parking charge of £3 when visiting the park (or use your annual pass if you have one)
