On 14 July a family friendly day of activities comes to Normanby! It’s all part of The Power of Words (POW) Festival , a celebration of all things literacy taking place across our area. For more information, please visit the POW website
Here’s what will be happening on the day:
10-11am: Midsummer Fairy Walkabout: Join local children’s author Addy Farmer for a fun poetry session for families with young children. Beware, there will be a troll to defeat! This event is now SOLD OUT – thank you!
11am-12pm: Untied Artists present: The Boy Who Bit Picasso: A hilarious, interactive family show with storytelling, music and puppetry. Buy tickets for the 11am show here.
12.30-1.30pm: Dramarama presents: And The Rest Is History. Come along and watch, and join in with interactive drama games. No booking required.
1.30-2.30pm: Untied Artists present: The Boy Who Bit Picasso. Buy tickets for the 1.30pm show here
2.30-3pm: Dramarama presents: And The Rest Is History. No booking required.
The following activities will also be taking place around the Park:
10.30am-4.30pm: Children’s crafts in the Farming Museum. No booking required, just turn up and get creative!
10.30am-4pm: Bear Hunt Trail. Collect your free trail sheet from the Farming Museum.
11-11.30am: Farming Museum Tour. Enjoy a tour of the building and the fascinating objects inside, including The Great Bear miniature steam train. No booking required.
2.30-3pm: Normanby Hall Talk. Discover the history of Normanby Hall with one of our friendly and knowledgeable guides. No booking required.
