A message for ticket holders attending the Skylight Cinema screening of The Greatest Showman Singalong

*Please note that this event is sold out – thank you*

We are looking forward to welcoming you to the Skylight Cinema screening of The Greatest Showman Singalong, here at Normanby Hall Country Park on 2 and 3 September.

As well as the film, you will also be able to enjoy a true night at the cinema, with a variety of food and drink outlets. We are delighted to say that the Normanby Arms pop up bar will be serving up a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and hot food.

We are also pleased to welcome local traders Jamie’s Sweet Emporium, Porkies and Coffee on the Run back to Normanby.

There will be face painting and a special outdoor Normanby gift shop, selling our wonderful new branded merchandise and glow sticks.

As a special promotion for visitors attending this event, Go Ape Normanby Hall will be offering a taster experience on their junior course for £5, before the screening starts.

Please read the important information below:

Timings and tickets:

The night begins at 6.30pm, with the film screening starting at approximately 8.15pm, when natural light levels are sufficiently low.

Tickets booked online via Eventbrite can be printed at home (free) or you can present your tickets on an electronic device for scanning at the event.

All members of the party should arrive together with one copy of the print at home ticket. Mobile signal is not guaranteed at the venue so tickets shown on a mobile device should be saved as a PDF or screenshot prior to arrival. Customers arriving without a valid copy of their ticket may be refused entry.

Where tickets have been bought at a discounted membership rate the appropriate membership pass must be presented with the ticket or entry may be refused.

As a security precaution, bags will be checked on entry and we thank you for your patience.

Tables and Chairs

Please note that no seats are provided and you should bring chairs or other suitable items to sit on. Seating is in the open air on variable ground conditions so please ensure you bring appropriate provision for your needs. Gazebo-style tents, awnings or canopies or any item which could obscure other patrons’ views are not permitted.

Clothing

The screening is held outdoors so please ensure you wear appropriate clothing. Please bear in mind that it can get chilly later in the evenings so make sure you bring something warm to wrap up in. Fancy dress around the theming is optional.

Food and Drink

There will be food and drink provision available to purchase on the night including bar facilities.

What happens in bad weather?

Screenings will still go ahead in inclement weather conditions and are never cancelled more than 12 hours ahead of the screening time as the weather can change rapidly. Customers accept the risk that weather they consider unsatisfactory may occur on a screening night, and acknowledge that tickets will not be exchanged or refunded unless a screening is cancelled by Skylight Cinema. In an event where we consider the safety of the audience could be compromised, the film may be cancelled at short notice.

Cancellations will always be a last resort and only authorised by joint decision of the Operational Management Teams and the venue. In the unlikely event of a cancellation, tickets will be exchanged for another screening where possible. Refund availability will be dependent on the cancellation circumstances. Cancellation information will be distributed via social media and email communication channels as a priority.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is not permitted inside the audience seating area.  Where smoking is permitted at a venue, we ask visitors to move away from the crowd to smoke in the designated smoking area out of respect for other audience members.

Barbecues

Barbecues, fireworks and bonfires are strictly not allowed on site on the evening of the screening.

Specific Access Requirements

Access for dogs

With the exception of assistance dogs, we will not be permitting dogs into any seating area.

Access for children

Children are welcome to attend our events, but please be aware that they must adhere to the film’s certification and our team will have to check ID to make sure that audience members are the suitable age to see the film. All children must be accompanied by an adult.  Concession tickets are available for children under 16 years of age and free tickets are available for children under 5 years of age.  All children entering the screening must have a ticket.
