Regency Ball

Event Details

Come along and enjoy a Regency Ball, in the elegant surroundings of Normanby Hall Country Park. The Ball has been organised in conjunction with the Lincolnshire Regency Society, whose musicians and dancers will ensure a unique, Regency experience.

The day will run as follows:

2:30pm - Trial and Tribulation playlet, a short play outside, in front of the entrance to the Hall

3:00pm - Perambulation in character, around the House and Grounds

4:00pm - Dance practice to commence in the Regency Dining Room

5:00pm - Light liquid refreshment, consisting of tea, coffee or orange juice

6:00pm - Let the Ball commence

7:00pm - A buffet, consisting of authentic, regency food from the era:

Sandwiches with various fillings

French Bread

Brioche

Gingerbread

Jellies

Chocolate Tart

Plum Cake

Served with a selection of drinks including Negus, tea, coffee or orange juice

7:45pm - Second half of the Ball

9:00pm - Close

The ball is priced at only £40 per person, plus booking fee, car parking is included in the price of your ticket.
