R-evolution

A Humber-wide charity offering training and development opportunities to upskill people through a variety of methods.

What is R-evolution?

R-evolution is a Humber-wide charity that offers training and development opportunities to upskill people through cycle mechanics and horticulture-accredited courses, workshops, and community outreach activities. Qualified tutors and life coaches support people to achieve their ambitions in either subject, based on their personal or professional aspirations.

Horticulture

R-evolution provides City & Guilds Horticulture training, community workshops, woodland walks, and volunteering opportunities at Normanby Hall.

The Horticulture tutor has more than thirty years of horticultural experience and works closely with trainees and volunteers in the park, teaching horticulture skills for work or pleasure.

Participants can sign up for a 12-week City & Guilds Level 1 Award in Horticulture, attending one day a week, with opportunities to progress on to the certificate and diploma level qualifications.

Volunteers can also get involved in a wide range of gardening and grounds maintenance activities around the 300 acre park, working closely with R-evolution and Normanby’s Parks and Gardens team.

Bike Donation Station

Did you know R-evolution has a bike donation station at the entrance to the park? Simply drop bikes off at the ticket booth during park opening hours, and R-evolution will collect them for recycling. Why not donate a bike today - all are welcome and recyclable!
