This show is performed outside by Pocket Panto in the unique setting of the stable yard and will bring everything a good old fashioned Music Hall show needs

With favourite sing-alongs such as

“Roll out the barrel”

“Oh I do like to be beside the seaside”

“The boy I love is up in the gallery”

And a visit from the Pearly Kings and Queens of old London Town.

Halloween Spook Walk

Monday 26 October to Saturday 31 October 2pm to 4.30pm

The walled garden has an eerie transformation and becomes the perfect setting for ghosts, witches and even a mad scientist to take residence for October half term.

Grab your scary masks and capes and bring the family to enjoy this hair-raising experience.

Taking part in this activity is free as part of your annual membership. No pre-booking is required. You might be asked to queue as we are limiting numbers. A one-way system is in place during this walk.


Drumming Workshop

Tuesday 27 October – 11am, 12 noon, 1pm & 2pm

Come and join us for a  (socially distanced) funky drumming workshop. Working with a professional community musician, participants will learn to play  drum rhythms from around the world (Suitable for 7 years and above)

The Mysterious Lady And Her Spooky Owls 

Thursday 29 October – 11am, 12 noon, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm

Our (socially distanced) spooky owl – mysterious lady experience will have you shaking in your shoes. Spooky fancy dress encouraged! Come along to the sunken garden and meet the spooky owls – and have them fly to you – if you dare! – You will then meet with the mysterious owl lady to hear tales of spooky owls throughout history and help her cook to up a special mysterious spell in her cauldron.

Wreath Making Workshop

Monday 23 November and Tuesday 24 November 10.30am to 3.30pm

Get creative this Christmas and join Emma in making a beautiful Christmas wreath using greenery from the grounds of Normanby. All materials will be supplied, and you will leave the workshop with a beautiful handmade wreath ready to hang up for Christmas.

Price: £30 per person which includes lunch and refreshments.

Create a Copper Tealight Holder

Monday 30 November, 10.30am

In this workshop you’ll make your own copper tealight holder based on leaves found in the beautiful grounds of Normanby Hall. The workshop will start with learning how to use a jeweller’s saw to cut copper, before a stroll in the grounds to look for leaves to use as templates. Armed with your template, you’ll cut a leaf out of sheet copper before then learning how to shape it into a 3D tealight holder, ready to take home or maybe give as a gift.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and all materials are included in the price along with a light lunch.

Festive Christmas Market

Friday 11 December, Saturday 12 December and Sunday 13 December

Visit the traditional festive market from Friday 11 December to  Sunday 13 December with a range of stalls from local producers.

With lots of festive spirit in the air you’ll be able to get those last minute gifts and stock up on delicious food and drinks.

There is a reduced customer capacity for each day and car parking spaces are to be pre-booked. Information on how to pre-book parking and further details will be coming soon!
